If you experience problems with the online application process, including payments, or if you have any questions about the Royal Society of Sculptors 2020 Summer Show that can not be answered by reading the general information, or by looking at the Frequently Asked Questions (below), please contact the project managers.
Entry fee is £5 per work. You may enter up to five works.
There is no minimum size limit, but the maximum size of work, in its largest dimension, is 220cms due to doorway restrictions. Please note that work will not be displayed on the sculpture terrace.
The summer exhibition is open to all members and fellows of the Royal Society of Sculptors working in any medium. For Society members, please note that for your application to be accepted, your 2020 annual membership fee must be paid in full by the submission deadline or an existing quarterly direct debit be in place.
Check that each of your image files 1MB or less and that it is a JPEG, TIFF or PNG file format.
If you still encounter problems, please contact us via e-mail email@example.com or call 020 3653 0896.
Artists will be notified of the results via email by 22 June, at the latest.
The delivery and cost of delivering the work (by Tuesday 7 July) is the responsibility of the artist.
Sculpture packaging can be stored (within reason) onsite until collection. The Society has limited storage space available for the duration of the exhibition for packaging materials including crates. Artists should aim to take their packaging with them where possible.
The Royal Society of Sculptors will take a 30% commission on any sales made during the exhibition.
Metered parking is available outside, otherwise there is a car park on Harrington Rd, Kensington, London SW7 3ND.
We have volunteers in the gallery during exhibition opening hours.
At the end of the exhibition, unsold artworks need to be collected by the artist or their representative on Monday 21 September 2020. Any works or other items belonging to the artist will be the responsibility of the artist and if not removed by 5pm Friday 25 September 2020 will be charged a fee of £10 per day per item until collected.
